Online Women’s Support Groups in DC

An online six-week therapy group for women is available for residents of New York, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Each session will consist of both skill-building and psychoeducation as well as psychodynamic group processing and support.

Chronic Pain and Chronic Illness Group

Our chronic health issues and chronic pain group is designed for adult women aged 18-45 navigating complex medical issues. We will meet once per week for 6 weeks online from 6:00-7:15 PM on Tuesdays. There are no specific diagnoses required to be a member of the group. We will focus on cognitive behavioral tools, acceptance and commitment tools, and mindfulness techniques to add to your coping toolbox. This group is ongoing and a phone consultation is required to sign up.

Perinatal Mood Disorders and Postpartum Group

Our perinatal mental health group is designed for pregnant women or postpartum women up to 3 years. We will meet once per week for 6 weeks online from 7:00-8:15 PM on Thursday evenings. We will focus on utilizing cognitive behavioral tools and mindfulness techniques to help manage issues relating to postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety or perinatal mood disorders as well as navigating life as a new mom. This group is ongoing and a phone consultation is required to sign up.
